! Help with steering !
i got new tie rods--inner and outter---new axels
i also got new lower balls joints ---but i actually took off the factory heat shields off so it melted the rubber boots open---but i put them back on now and im getting new lower ball joints this weekend
PROBLEM !!---i noticed recentley that when i turn right or left the wheel doesnt go back by itself----it actually feels like it gets stuck in that position---like it doesnt go back straight like it should---also when i washed my car at work i always do a under body flush as well and the inside of the rims
last time i did this i pulled my car out and when i was turning i had this fuckin noise that was so annoying coming from the driver side front---it sounded like metal to metal while turning---im guessing it was the ball joints making this noise----but i just jacked up the right side and lowered it and the noise went away
what can be the problem here guys ???

It's easy to crush the ball joints during installation if you use the wrong adapters on a ball joint press. I've seen it more than once. It's usually pretty obvious when you remove the press. I've never tried to still use the ball joint when this happens, but if you did it would be stiffer than...... well, it would be really stiff!

well guys-----my fuckin front driver wheel fell off this morning---crazy ass story
on my way to work on the freeway following a corvette goin 85mph---i made it to the shop i work at -----got out of the car---my mom got in the driver seat cuz she need to use the whip today ---she put it in drive and moved HONESTLEY 4 feet and the driver front wheel fell the fuck off---fucked the lower part of the fender and ripped the axel apart-----jacked it up and looked and the lower ball joint blew apart---like all i seen was the top of it---the round circle part--
and its fuckin crazy too cuz i seen on here sumwhere b4 that this exact same thing happened to sum1
so i spent the 3 hrs on it and replaced both front lower ball joints and a new driver axel ----the fuckin luck i have huh
im just thankful it didnt happen on the freeway when i was goin 85---shit even goin 65 i would have fucked my car up pretty bad
