I am having some problems with my car 99 tl 130k the car would shut off by itself and it would take about 15mins to start ,now i realize that if i wait for a while until i see that little green light that shows the key in the ignition it will start with no problem but until that green light comes up it will not start , now my question is should i just replace the switch or does it have something to do with the imobilizer reader as i read on some other post.

shutting off by it self is usually the ignition witch. When it doesnt start does it just sit there and crank or nothing at all?

 

yeah it just sits there and crank ,it would not start until the green light wich is the imobilizer reader comes on then it will start right up

 

when it doesnt start it just cranks and that green light wich is the imobolizer icon for the key doesnt show as soon as it shows the car starts right up

 

Ok now i am definitely screwed I went ahead and replaced the ignition key , even got a new key and now the car still does the same thing it cranks but doesnt turn over , i know it has something to do with the immobilizer because the little green light doesnt come on when i turn the swith on , can someone tell me how to go about take it to the dealer or what i dont want any big surprises from the dealer
