HELP! Hub Bearing Frozen!

Sorry guys, but this is the second time I'm posting this because I need help as soon as possible. Here's the situation:

I followed the instructions for replacing a rear hub assembly to a "T", and got the hub assembly off. (it took some coaxing, but later found out why). After I took it off, I looked at the old hub and saw exposed ball bearings and thought "Well that's not right". So I look at the shaft and see the race (the inside part of a bearing) frozen on to the shaft. (see picture) I tried soaking the thing in WD-40 and liguid wrench overnight. And hammered it a couple times with a flathead screwdriver from behind. (probably did more damage than progress). I also tried every wrench i hav in the shop including a strap wrench. Luckily nothing has scored it yet. Can you guys think of what else I can do? I'm thinking of just keeping it on there and taking off the same part from the new assembly. What do you think?

Tried that,.. won't budge. I think I'm going to have to replace the spindle.

Tried the pipe wrench, but it slid all over it. It just couldn't get a grip on the smooth surface. The size of the pipe wrench may be the problem so I may need to get a bigger one. I also tried to use a hacksaw to put some flat spots on the race, but that suckers hard (I guess it would have to be) The hacksaw didn't even scratch it. Oh well,.. I ended up putting it all back together and am driving it very gingerly until I can take it to the shop. The good news is that I can now disasemble and reasemble that area in good time now.

Get a Sliding Hammer, I believe you have a little gap there, hook something up to it, then slide the hammer to yank it out. Try a puller tool or c-clamp if it has room.

UPDATE:
I took it into my trusty mechanic (screw the dealer) and had him look at it. He ended up taking a grinder to it and cutting away at it until he could break it off. Took him about an hour and a half (and $160) for the whole thing. So much for saving money by trying to do it myself. At least now I know how to do it if the other side ever goes.

acutee: Unfortunately the gap in behind it is not deep or wide enough to get teeth in there. The puller was my first thought (not that I have one on hand), but after seeing what I had to work with, I knew the puller wouldn't have anything to hold onto.

pdprich: I never tried a dremmel tool. I would have had to go out and buy one. After some serious attempts with a hacksaw, and not even scratching the thing, I guess I thought that it would take some professional brawn to get it off. All I know is that race is pretty damn hard, and takes one heck of a beating without showing it.

Thanks to all of you who tried to help though!
