Hard Shifts
I have a 2000TL and am at 111k. The car is not shifting from 2nd to 3rd as usual, and it started yesterday.
I cant make it to an appointment until tomorrow, how much longer before the car becomes undrivable?
Any Ideas?

What do you guys think the dealer will cover, IF ANYTHING, since the car has 111k miles on it?
I REALLY dont like this Leith Acura of Cary, NC either. They just keep smiling and saying sorry but offer NOTHING AT ALL.

if its having a hard time now, not long. The less it gets driven or less shifting it has to do the longer it will last.
There is a good possibility honda will cover it. I had one covered at 115k. You may want to contact acura client services and advise them of your situation also. Be nice to them.((for overall they are the ones who deny or accept wether or not acura picks up the tab)
