hey guys when i drive this light comes on but goes after couple of seconds what could it be? (!) it randomly comes when i accelerate a bit fast then it goes out

 

is the pedal loose? sometimes the spring gets worn out and the pedal sags.

 

That your traction control system kicking in. When you accelerate hard your wheels slip so your TCS senses that and controls it.

 

lol i just read the hand brake part of this thread... that is your traction control kicking in so you dont spin out.

 

no its not the traction control cause its not the tcs light flashing, plus the tcs light is yellow, this one is red and it doesn't flas, its just comes on and goes like 5 secs later, i don't spin the tires so i think maybe the spring is worned out but ill see, anyone else?

 

Pop your hood and check your brake fluid level. Top off if necessary. Also make sure the float on the brake cap moves freely.

 

TCS does not turn on the brake light.

 

i thought he meant the brake light too but apparently its the (!) light

 

mine comes on when its cold outside, and only when i press on my brake pad like when im on park it wont light if the hand brake isnt on, but when I hit the brakes to put into D4 it comes on, but I play with it and it eventually fades, happened to me twice, only happens when its the first start of the day and on cold days ???
