NO! somehow the key wont unlock yet it managed to lock, it used to be smooth and now it feels like its the wrong key. My friend recommends WD-40 i just dont feel that will do much.

I would try it. Did you try using one of the other keys for the car?

Yeah try another key. Just FYI, the valet key can't unlock the glove box.

I only got 1 key when i purchased my car. It just so happens that it most probably is the valet key. Only place to get actual key is with Acura?

Is the key gray? If it is then its valet key.

Do you have the glovebox jammed full of crap? If so, some of it probably got stuck in the latch when you closed and locked it. Try it again while pushing the glovebox against the dash to see if it'll pop open.

If I were female I would probably have it full of make-up. Luckily it is in fact not true, it's half empty.

My mother informed of a locksmith that does replacement keys by taking apart the ignition its around $75.

Think I will still have to get it done by Acura?

This would be my strategy, should I find myself in that situation:
1) Look at my local wrecking yard for a glove box cover/door.
2)Cut a hole to get my hand in the glove compartment to open.
3)Take everything apart and figure out what is the problem.
