My gauges in my '99 are difficult to see. The odometer is only visible when in direct sunlight, and the area that should say what gear I'm in is doing the same thing. Will a gauge cluster from 02-03 plug into my 99?

 

i think the LEDs might be going out.. but then again.. i'm a 16 year old that still hasn't gotten his TL and still has no idea what some of the stuff is around here

 

You would have to get a new cluster for a 99 TL, although I would not recommend this as the mileage is stored in the cluster.

 

remove it and replace the light bulbs. The 02-03 is not a direct plug and play.

 

What would be needed to put 02-03 gauges? is it not even worth it? Also what would be causing the problem I'm having? The odometer, trip meter, outside temp, gear select, and the box where it shows what gear i'm in when i put it in autostick, are all dim or not functioning. My TL has about 140k, i bought it at 107k and they were not working at that time either.

 

alot to get teh others to work. If you want more info on it use the search button. there is a thread detailing what went into getting it to work, and it wasnt easy.

Like i said before, pull the cluster out and try replacing the bulbs.
