Brake Help
I recently changed the front rotors and pads to brembo blanks and satisfied ceramic pro pads.
I did the break in period two times and during the break in they work well and get better as they heat up.
But for some reason they do not work that well on normal driving days they just dont seem to be grabbing, they loose that sticky feeling you get when they get heated up like during the break in period.
Also i notice if i stop on a road that has bumps in it and im hitting the bumps as im trying to stop they work poorly not sure it is because the tires are not gripping or the brakes
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Did you flush the brake fluid when you did the brake change?
Thats a major cause of pedal softness
What bedding method did you use- those are meant to superheat the brakes and ~liquify~ a transfer layer of pad material and adhere it to the rotor face- that makes for good braking
After that you should have the same brakes after a few stop signs for the rest of the drive.
Ceramics have less bite than semi met or compound pads

Also, FWIW, I just changed the rears for the first time, and liked how easy it was to do!! I've done many cars in the past, and these were probably the easiest rear pads I've done - A good design makes it good for all!
They don't rate very well for "stopping power" on the Tire Rack's site:

They need heat to really work.

No i never flushed out the fluid.
As far as bedding I did about 6 stops from 40mph then i did two stops from 60 mph allowing some time between stops at 60mph.
I guess i may switch the pads.
I dont want to spend much since i will be selling the car in 4-6 months, not that i want to get rid of it I actually am upset that i must part with it but i am getting a company car and it really does not make sence to keep it.
Anyway if you could recommend a pad maybe under $50 that will bite better let me know.
Thanks again.

you didnt even come close to getting the pads bedded
You need to make heat and keep the brake hot while doing this
see excelerate- heeltoe or stoptech for methods- net not working correct, cant link for you
try www.heeltoeauto.com tech articles- brakes
And flush the brake fluid!!!

After reading the heeltoe procedure i believe i did something similar the thing is I really am not sure how hard i should be hitting the breaks when i am doing the procedure.
I will attempt it again being more agressive after each stop.
I will also change the fluid when i have some time.
Thanks for all your help guys.
