As a first step, make sure you're using a properly-rated fuse. I'm not sure off the top of my head what that is, but the label next to the fuse box should tell you.

The service manual has it on page 22-175, if you search through this forum you should find a link to download it as a PDF. Incredibly useful piece of literature to hold onto, I've got a copy on my phone for when I'm out in the garage.
