Is AT fluid temperature sensor covered by the extended transmission warranty?

I live in Vancouver, Canada. My 2000 3.2 TL has 92,000 kilometers. The D5 is flashing now. I got it checked at an independent garage and got the diagnostic trouble code P0710 (AT fluid temperature sensor). I'd like to know whether it's covered by the extended transmission warranty before I go to Acura service store. Thanks a lot.

(AT fluid temperature sensor).
Change my A/T fluid at 92km and D5 start to flash
Bring it to the dealer and AT fluid temperature sensor change
cost 450$ Can. and was told that it's not under the extended transmission
warranty.

No i dont have a pic of it. It on the Drivers side. If you go thru the wheel well there is a small rubber tranny mount (towards teh front of the tire) that needs to be removed. Its directly behind it. Once you pull that sensor its like pulling the drain plug on the tranny. All the fluid comes out
