Factory Amp Help

I recently took out the 2 12 inch subs I had running on an aftermarket amp. After uninstalling the amp I don't know how to reinstall the oem bose amp for the factory sub to work again. could someone please help me out on how to do this its a 2003 tl.

If my memory serves me right, the standalone amp for the stock subwoofer is the small black box protruding from under the top of your trunk near the back seat on the right half of the trunk. Should be two wires with connectors to hook up to the leads on the stock subwoofer. Did you take the old stock amp out? If you want, I could see if the procedure for that is in the factory service manual. I know there's one floating around here somewhere. That should be able to tell you exactly where if my post doesn't make sense :P

No its not that. Its behind the rear seat on the passenger side. You need to remove the seat to get to it best. As for the oem sub and getting it to work, it should work when plugged in unless someone cut the wires at or going to it to splice the wires required to get the signal for your aftermarket setup.

Might be silly but did u check to see if the stock wires are plugged into the oem sub?
