I have a 2003 TL-S with a replaced transmission a few weeks ago.

The engine light came on so I went to an auto parts store where they can read the code. They guy said it was a general transmission error, but it wasn't specific. The transmission is working fine, not having any problems. I know I need to bring it back to the dealer since it is still under warranty.

just wandering what could be the cause of the engine light and if you think its a serious problem.

 

Have no idea. A general code doesnt explain much. There are many codes for different things on the trans. Id suggest bringing it back to the dealer to have them read it and see whats actually wrong

Call the Service MANAGER and make appt thru them-

Manager needs to know these things are happening
