Question Electronics problem after ECU reset?

So yesterday i finished installing my thermoblocs, and thought it would be a good idea to reset the ECU, considering the thermoblocs were the last in a list of other mods i've done recently. everything went fine, i reset the ECU, reconnected battery, punched in the radio code and everything was cool. but when i went to roll down drivers side window, the auto-roll down feature or whatever wouldn't work. you know, when you press the drivers side window switch down to the second click, it will roll the window all the way down by itself. i know this isn't a huge deal, but i'd still ike to know whats going on. any ideas?

That's normal. It has to re-learn the auto up/down. After you use it a couple of times, it should work again.

The relearn is in your manual on how to reset it.

For those that are reading impaired.. Push and hold the window down and keep it held down for a few seconds after its down all the way, repeat for up. It should now work.

fsttyms1: another thing you might know about, or anyone else, is when i'm cruising on the highway or main road in 4th gear i believe, and i let off the gas, there's a small thud, and then again when i reapply gas. my assumption is that this just the torque converter locking up. please tell me that i'm right and my tranny isn't showing the first signs of failure!!

Its not a hiccup. When you disconnect the battery you reset the system. You have to have the system RE-Learn.

This Re-Learn thing is only for the driver's window? or there are more devices that need to reLearn something? I have resetted it several times and the auto-down always works fine the first time I want to lower the window.

02 and 03 have the auto up feature which require a relearn. The 99-01 dont have to do that with the auto down only feature.
