Electrical Problem (gauges, power windows, shift lock)

As I was driving to pick up my girlfriend, my broadview rear view mirror cover fell off. As I was trying to put it back on, the whole rear view mirror fell completely off! (while taking a nice chunk of glass with it.) I pulled into a CVS and picked up some rear view mirror glue. I didn't work at all. Out of frustration, I cut the power wire to the mirror to quickly remove it.

Shortly after, I noticed that my entire gauge cluster and power windows were not working. Also, the shift lock was stuck in park. I had to manually shift it into drive. Now, I'm sitting in my garage trying to fix this problem.

-I noticed that all of the things that normally turn on when the ignition switch is in the 2 position doesn't work anymore. (gauges, power windows, etc.)

-when the car is running and I open the door, you hear the beeping sound as you would when you have the keys in the off position.

-checked all the fuses and non of them seem to be blown.

Does anyone know if this is something that is fuse related or is it my ignition switch??

I check all of the fuses and they appear to be fine.

So I finally fixed the problem. Found out that it was a fuse that blew that controlled everything that was not operating. #9 on Drivers side fuse box.
I Had to crimp the wires from the mirror back and glue the mirror back on as well.
While researching, I also found out that the auto dimming mirror is connected to a circuit that also connects to a relay for the transmission. strange......
Everything works now but the check engine light is on. I'll have to check what the code is on Monday.

probably a false code--reset ecu by pulling the clock fuse on passenger end of dash

Did you cut more than one wire at a time? If so whatever you used shorted that circuit = a blown fuse that did its job.
