I also own an 2000 with a nav system. You can just get a new DVD version from acuranavi.com. The newest one that they have is version 2.5 and its a black DVD. It will cost about $200 but thats about all i know about it.

go to acura.com, store, and `buy nav dvd`
thats the only way to get them- alpine makes the disc

they only sell the newest release-(except right before the new one- they sell current version for 50 bucks off)
it will have all the unpdates from prior years

there is a list of what cities were added or heavily modified on each years list

You even have to give VIN numer to ensure you get the correct version and release- each year and car model takes a different one- to ensure alpines long term future revenues

Sometimes a `used a few years`-disc appears on private sales when someone updates again

couldnt someone rip there dvd using alcohol 120% or a program like that, and leave the iso posted here so others could download it and burn it? i dont have navi, but i dont even pay $15 for a music cd. I'll be damned if i'd pay $200 for a nav dvd.

Yes, you can do this. See the following DIY thread:
