What does this mean? 00 TL What is the fix?

 

is it on all the time- the RED srs light?
you likely have a sensor failure
CALL the dealer for appt asap- there is a special 10 year 150k miles warranty on the system
When the light is ON the system is OFF!!

 

Mine came on, took it to the dealer, fixed under warranty and was told another sensor may go bad, which is covered also. A month later light came back on, dealer fixed it under warranty.

 

I have the same problem, except I had the windows slightly open one day and it POURED but by the time I came outside to close the windows was a bit wet inside already.

Later when I turned went to drive it, the SRS light came on and has been on since...sensor short, or busted??

I took my 03 TL-S in for trans problem and also had the SRS problem. I was so worried about the trans that I forgot to ask about the light. The service manager brought it up when I called back later. Said he'd fix it under warranty for me.
