Driver's door- not locking

When I press lock/unlock on my keyless remote, the driver's door is not locking, the lights blink, 3 doors lock, no beep (b/c front door isn't locking).

When I press lock/unlock from the driver's door or passenger's door, same results. When I hold the lock knob and press the lock button, I don't feel any motion as if it is slipping or something.

Only by manually pushing down the driver's door lock knob, or using the key on the outside and turning, can I look the door.

My question, to save me some time, is could this be related to a fuse or the mechanics and need to take off the driver's door to investigate.

Hey Nollid, by the way that you explained everything working except the driver's door....It's probably something that will require the door's inner panel to be removed.

More than likely a bad switch or actuator in my opinion.

Dont replace anything yet. Take the lock/latch mechanism out of the door and make sure that every thing moves freely. i have seen many rust up. If that is your case just get some penetrating oil and soak it in it and manually free it up.
