driver head light not working

driver head light not working

Driver head light is not working. I thought it was the bulb but its not. When i turn the light's on the right side work fine but the left side does not also i think the low beams comes on also and my fog lights does now work at all.. help some one its soo lame to drive around with one light on

check all the fuses to make sure none have blown. then check with a test light to see if you have power to the ballast whenu turn on the headlight switch. if you do then you ballast is bad.

did u switch the bulbs left to right and right to left? switch the ignitors next and then the ballast. time consuming but can save u tons of money in the end

Rajca,

I am having a similar problem and switched the bulbs and therefore the next step is to do the same with the ballast and ignitors.

Question: To switched the ignitors, do you have to do it taking the bumper off as it is required to access the ballasts?

yes. the ignitor connects the ballast and the hid bulb.
