my 99 tl's door pillars are worn, they are not glossy black anymore so i was wondering if someone can give me some ideas to get them fixed.

 

Sand and paint them or wrap them with some vinyl.

 

I just posted a similar question, and then found this thread. The pillars are actually covered with tape. It's available from Acura (e.g. Acura of Peoria for $23.46/door).

The question I posted was what is the procedure for removing the old tape (heat, solvent?) and whether the new tape is self-stick.

I'd think that replacing the tape would be easier than sanding/painting, etc.
