I need to see what is wrong.

Got a 99 TL and my passagner side door when opening all door w/ remote is does not go all the way up. Like is the lock knob does not POP all the way up allowing to open the door. Also when attempting to close all the doors I can press the remote to lock and the knob goes down, but the knob has issues going up. (does it need Viagra? , lol just kidding).

-But all kidding a-side, my passagner front door knob will not go all the way up which I have to manually put the key in the door to UNlock to open the passagner door or reach over in the inside from the driver and flip the lock knob up. What can it be? Maybe the rod is not pushing up straight, out of allignment?

Any ideas??

 

Door lock actuator is bad. May want to take off the door panel, unplug the connector that goes to the actuator, ground pin 1 and apply +12v to pin 2 and see if the door unlocks. This will eliminate the possibility of shorted wires of bad relays/switches.
