i am putting an aftermarket wing on my 01 TL, and it doesnt seem that the LED works when plugged directly into the taillight wires. what i am looking for is for someone to tell me how the factory wing has the LEDs hooked up. if someone can tell me this, it would be great.

if anyone has photos of where it is hooked up, that would be even that much better.

 

The factory spoiler does not plug into the tail light wires. With the OEM, you unplug the high mounted stop light wiring and the spoiler wiring plugs into the end of that cable.

 

Go to h o n d a c u r a w o r l d . c o m, Enter the store, select Instructions in the upper right hand corner, select Acura TL and then click on Rear Wing Spoiler.

that is actually right where we tried to hook it up before, i mistakenly put taillight, i should have written 3rd brake light.
