Does driving in the D4 solve any tranny issue
instead of using d5
I think d5 has too many features that overheat the tranny or w/e
d5 requires too many shifting which overwork the tranny....adding manual gear features to a automatic car is never a bright idea.

no, it won't save you. also, the 3rd gear clutchpack set is the real problem, that fact that it has extra gears isn't the issue. if the tranny is going to go it will go. there is nothing you can do but change the fluid regularly. sorry.

Nothing you do will prolong it short of never driving the car. You need to understand how transmissions work before you can start making assumptions. Having 5 gears isnt the cause.

this new info gave me some peace of mind. Its not safe having your stall on you on the highway going 55mph+

I went to the acura dealership to buy my car but they didn't have any 03 so i bought it at another dealership.
