Exclamation Cruise Control

I have just fixed a problem with my windows/sunroof not working due to a loose wire behind glove department, previous owner installed some aftermarket unit most likely an alarm.

Well I was driving today and my cruise control didnt work, first I thought it was a fuse but it wasnt, then I have discover that cruise control only works when my lights are off, as soon as I put my curtesy lights or low beam lights on the cruise control turns off.

Anybody had that problem before? I read couple posts on this and they said to check the cruise control unit under the hood, but I dont think its a loose wire since the cruise control works without the lights.

I have NO idea what that probably is. But, if someone messed with the electrical system before, I.E. an alarm or something, wires could have been switched or a relay(s) could be fried. Just throwing that out there for consideration. That really sucks, goodluck on that!

Never heard of that either, Eedvl1999. When my cruise control stopped working, it was a broken cruise control attachment on the plastic throttle cam. I ended up getting a whole new throttle body.

Good luck; let us know when you figure it out.
