Cooling System Nightmares please help!!
Hey everyone I have a 2003 TLP and I've had my car parked up for the past 2 months. Well yesterday I decided to crank up the TL and found my battery dead. I kinda expected that since I wasnt starting my car from time to time to let the alternator recharge my battery. Anyway I charged my battery and started my car, the first thing that I noticed was that after about 5 mins of being on my RPM's started fluctuating but that stopped after about 5 mins. Then after about 20 mins of just sitting there being on I noticed that there was steam coming from the drivers side in the front of the car and the engine temp was in the red so I popped the hood. The reservior for my radiator coolant was boiling hot and it looked like the lil hose that runs into it was forcing the coolant out of it. I also noticed that the radiator fans were not spinning. My first reaction was to stop the car and check the fuses under the hood for the Cooling and AC fans, also to check the relays, and everything was fine. I then unplugged the fans and ran 12v to each of them and they turned on. so I am assuming that it's possibly the switches for the fan. Well I left that alone till today and before I decided to do anything I started the car and drove it down the hill then back up again to see if it would overheat when driving. When I was going down I turned on the AC and noticed that I wasnt getting any cold air. By the time that I got back home my car was now smoking on the passenger side. I jumped out the car to see where it was coming from and I couldnt really tell, I just knew that it was coming out from somewhere under the alternator and it smelt like burning wires or curcuits. Can anyone tell me what's going on? PLEASE HELP!!!!
