ok heres the story. yesterday one of my coil packs went out. so i replaced it, no big deal.. a few hours later i popped the car in SS mode and my car started misfiring again at WOT. check engine and TCS popped on.. wierd thing is that car runs fine with no misfires driving regularly. but at WOT from a stop car misfires like a mofo.. plugged in my OBD and found like 4 cyls misfired and a....p1399?? what the hell is going on?!? only wen i push the car it starts misfiring

so whats the deal? BTW its a 99 TL

 

i would say to start by changing plugs, yes new plugs, but switch em around and scann again, not sure why it would start to misfire again....someone else wit more experience will post...but yea id try that if i had time....

 

i just put denso's in about 10k ago.. do u really think its necessary for new plugs?

 

lol another coil went bad... o god i should really buy 5 more lol

 

had autozone check my check engine light, car was shaking and engine timing was really bad. had to replaced 1 coil pack and another one failed within a week. so a total of two coil packs and i thought these last forever guess i was wrong. they are like $60 each if i remeber correctly.
