dose silverstar make a replacment bulb for part # 7440 (clear/amber)? im getting the tail lights that are red and clear for my 2000 tl.

 

Are you swapping the harness or are you keeping the orginal harness? Silverstar is made by Sylvania but you can also check out superlumination.com. That's where I got mine from but if you are going with the 02 harness, you will need to order 1156

 

I have a 2000 TL as well with the conversion tail lights (clear along the top). I just installed a pair of 7440's from http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm and they look awesome. Here is a pic:



They are silver when off and amber when lit. They took the amber tinge away from the clear lights when they were off.
