I called my local mechanic and an acura dealer about this code (P1457). They told me that it might be an air leak or the new intake I put in a week ago (AEM V2) in which had something to do with the emission system.

I want to know can an intake make the check engine light come on?

How can I fix this problem?

Is it something I should be worried about?

Also I purchased headers for my car, will this make the engine light come on as well?

 

CEL is something to be concerned about- it means the computer is not happy with something
Recheck all the connections and lines to the new airbox for leaks.. like the dealer said
