so a few months back my check engine light came on and it was my cat. convert. i changed that out and a few weeks later it came on again and it read out that my egr valve was bad. i changed that out and cleaned it out really good. i even did what some guy did, taking out the exhuast manifold and widened the holes and cleaned it out real good. the light went out and came back 2 months later. it reads the egr valve , but i have replaced it and clean the shit out of it. any thoughts on that before i go 2 a dealer and get ripped off?

 

Its possible that its your O2's that have been causing the check engine light.

 

i have changed out everything, from O2 sensors, to cat. convert, my egr valve, and cleaned out everything. but still the egr problem reads on the odbII

 

Well then id bring it to the dealer. They have better scanners that can read more into the codes coming up.
