Unhappy Broke Oil Pan!!

I started off by tightening my xs headers, got them all lined up niceley....and when i was about to jack up the car to remove the stands...my godamn car moves fowards and falls on the jack. I looked up and didnt see any damage...and took the car for a 2 minute drive. At the stop light there was smoke coming out and when i drove home there was a line of oil down the whole street.

So pretty much I fucked up, and punctured a whole into my oil pan. I gota buy a new one and was wondering if i also need a new gasket.

yes!! you always replace a gasket with the oil pan.
Others have found good results on a temp repair- (several months)
using JB weld- 2 part liquid epoxy you mix and apply, or in the putty form, 2 part epoxy you can mold/form and press into the crack if its not too bad.
Check other recent thread on same issue

I have a couple of wood 2X4 pieces that are about 8/10 inches long. My father taught me to to ALWAY ALWAY ALWAY block at least one wheel on the back of the car when jacking up the front.

He was a smart man!

the blocking a tire bit is smart advice
Always block the opposite side and end of the car- so the weight transfer will not
roll the car off the stand or jack
Blocks are far better than park brakes!!
When you do the rear brake job you will understand
