Hi i have this problem wit my brakes:
everything time when i first start the car and when i brake it makes this squeeking sound, i thought its my pads wearing off but after driving for about 3-4 minutes this sound would go away when i brake. What is going on and normally how long does the brake last???? i got all four changed a year ago and only put 7k miles on it (I dont drive much). sry im a noob and dont know much about cars.

What pads and rotors do you have?
Is there moisture in the air at night- that will get into the pads and need a few stops to dry out

 

i have no idea about my brakes but i got them replaced last yr at the acura dealer when i got the car. well i live in san diego and there maybe there is moist around i guess
