Question Brake light still on with spoiler installed HELP.

03 TLS. The brake light behind the speaker in the center comes on but i got the spoiler installed and it should have stopped coming on right? Because the lights on the spoiler take the power from it right? Is that why only half of its coming on? I either want totally off or fully lite up because it looks tacky. Maybe just a bulb?

heres a pic of what im talking bout.

yea ur spoiler brake light takes the place of the 3rd brake light. it shouldnt come on at all. quick fix is to just take the 2 bulbs out of the 3rd brake light. who ever installed it may have just t tapped into the 3rd brake light to feed your spoilers brake light.

Routing the Wire Harness
14. Unplug both 2-pin connectors and remove the
bulbs from the high-mount brake lights, then
connect one of the 2-pin connectors to the spoiler
harness. Reinstall the other 2-pin connector to the
high-mount brake light case.

Both bulbs are supposed to be removed.
