Blower Motor out
Blower Motor out
Hi all..
Could use some insight. On Sat. morning, i came out and noticed my blower motor will not work. In addition, it appears the a/c will not cycle on and off. This morning as I was leaving to take the car to the dealer, whom i've had nothing but good experiences with, the battery was dead when I tried to start the car. Lights worked, radio, etc., however not enough power to fully engage starter.
Got a jump, took car to dealer. Evidently, the blower motor connector melted, thus frying the motor, relay and transistor.
What are the chances that his also caused the battery to go as well? I think it is the original battery, but it is rated for 100 months....it is only 60.
BTW, car is 2003 TL Type S.
Thanks,

Thanks,
My mom's 2002 TL had the same melted connection - 600 bucks later, the dealer fixed it. I saw some DIY stuff on the site, so you may want to check it out.
As far as the battery goes, I am not sure but sounds like you were ready for a new one..
