Blower heater frustration

Blower heater frustration
Ok gang I've replaced the resistor, motor, relay on the firewall, harness for the blower and climate control. WTH is left? I will say that the motor will blow but die instantly with the new climate control so it's only part of the resolution. May be time to ship her to the dealer after and Indy said it was the climate control for $62. Thanks in advance for any input, direction, empathy or sympathy. lol

Yeah, what is left ? Seems like the common problem areas were all covered.
Have ya tried running the CC self diagnostics again to see if anything comes up ?
Try rechecking all of the wiring connections to make sure they're all good, IDK ...!

was that harness you replaced the one with the power connector, just under front of glove box?
that's a real PITA part, melts, wires get loose, shorts,
which dash do you have- with NAV and the digital climate control?
what happened just before the blower problems?
what were the system failure hints the car gave, or recent work done on the car before failure, anything at all?
blower stopped? or only ran on high? whats the back story on this?
I agree with 3.2 on running the diagnostics, it should be in the diy section
report whatever codes it gives, one of the AC Gurus will have an out of the box idea from there
or Helpful Diagram Man!! will see the searchlight and hook you up!!

01TL I believe so with the blue and yellow wire. No navigation in my baby and one day the blower just quit, done with no hint of anything. After replacing the blower and resistor I still have nothing. Replaced the compressor relay, nothing. Diagnostics are negative as well so I'm lost here.

wow- I have seen one of those plain type dash in the TL before- just turn knobs for fan speed and temp control right?
In that case, have you ckd the switches or is that the controls you are talking about?
A 12volt test light or a multi-meter and start looking from fuse box down the line
New parts were installed for resistor and blower motor itself? clean any connector there and test by wiggle/pull on each wire to connection- been seeing that recently- the crimp not holding wire tight to its metal fitting and weak, intermittent, or no power occurs
I don't recall colors of wires just under glovebox for that power connector- just look for it and open to inspect for burn or melt or rust etc, ck backside of plastic connection too
Keep 12v testing to the blower motor- switches etc

but usually it's the wiring harness connector that's at fault.
This test will at least tell ya if the motor itself is good. Recheck all connections from the motor. Download a copy of the Factory Service Manual for electrical schematics of the blower motor's circuit.

With the new climate control the blower motor actually energizes then fails after 2-3 seconds so power is getting there then cutting out somehow so that tells me the blower motor is good. Weird.

Mr.Helpful Diagram
Look for taped up part of the wires of the blower motor, When the wires are put together and not soldered they will fry and create a bad connection.
Take off the tape if any and inspect the wiring,They should be flexible if not the wires are damaged within.
But do the test 3.2tlc and 01tl4tl pointed out there.

Any resolution to this? I have the P non-navi and car only blows cold, last week I noticed the problem and restarted the car and got hot air but now even after 2 restarts today nothing, any insight?

Try running the climate control's self diagnostic feature.

KS you already inspected the heater control valve? inside engine compartment at the firewall - next to the heater hoses? ckd obvious things in blower area?
does the non-navi dash have a climate control diagnostic? where would it display?
