I am totally lost i have a 99 acura tl just got the tranny rebuilt a week ago, the abs/tcs light is on, scanned it code came up for rf wheel sensor..

yesterday i was driving everything started dieing car was losing power rpms/gas guage working on & off, lights flashing on the dash, car was reving up to 4k tranny jumping spinning tires, i give it gas no doesnt respond in time then it died couldnt even jump start the car battery total dead unless i keep the jumper pack on it would shut off.

so today i change my alternator started up fine hour later same shit!

abs,tcs,brake,battery light on! car died coming into my driveway no power.

p1738 manufactur contol tranny

im stumped cause the tranny would cause these problem? ignition switch?

 

I don't understand. Did you not get a warranty on the rebuild? Both codes are related to the tranny... Why are you dealing with this? Just give it back to the shop and tell them to fix it.

 

The newly rebuilt tranny is bad.

Bring it back to the tranny rebuild shop.

 

they did it wrong, should ask them exactly how many of these have they rebuilt and to show you the latest procedure they have for that specific transmission

 

has warranty, is a tranny shop, my thought is why the tranny would letting the car keep losing power, killing the battery and hesitating

 

sounds like wireharness not connected back properly....

 

take it back to the shop. sometimes they don't get it right the first time - disconnected sensor etc.

 

i changed the alternator and same effects car dies rpm qauge dosent work, no power then killa the battery

 

What's wrong with you? Why are you spending money on this? Take it back to the shop. They did not properly rebuild and install the transmission.
