So I need to replace the axles on the TL-S, I've got this vibrating upon acceleration....thats what it is

Im going to a good car friends funeral about 30 min away and we were all going in our cars...but is it dangerous to drive? They dont click on turns or anything.

 

you sure its axles?? i've also been experiencing vibrating upon acceleration.. its at about 50-55 mph.. otherwise, car drives smooth as hell.. its just when i am accelerating through that speed range.. already did obvious like align/balance and replaced wheel bearing.. car was good for a week then vibrations came back... contemplating what i should go after next.. was gonna go with ball joints and tie end rods... but it seems like we're in same boat

 

half shafts and the CV's can cause vibration not something that is going to do damage in a short time but over time they will so replace as soon as possible. You can usually grab them and feel play in them if they are bad.

 

Also motor mounts will cause the same symptoms

 

After doing some research on the CL side, everything pointed to axles, so I hope it fixes the problem..

Under acceleration is happens EVERY TIME and VERY noticeable. At any speed, really.
