02 TL-S. I want to replace the A/C vents in the dash (not cluster) but can't figure out how they are removed. They seem to begin to pop out but something is holding them. Help please.

 

Are you asking about the outside face of the vent (as in the grates), or the actual vent tunnel behind the dashboard cover?

If it's the driver-side or center vents you're looking at, it'll be easier to just remove the dashboard to get to them. Two screws above the gauges and some press-tabs around the lower edges are what hold it in.

The passenger-side vent should just pop out iirc - a plastic prybar will help.
