i recently put tein ss with dampering and i had it on very stiff for the whole summer and a little during winter then i decided to put it on smooth...right now its still on smooth but now im starting to hear this squeeking noise its like when you squeeze a rubber ducky.. its very very annoying. It only occurs when i go over bumps or pot holes..and i only hear it from the back i dont know if its from the seats or the coilover i dont know where its coming from but please if you know anything about this please help me find the solution and hopefully help locate where its coming from thank you.

 

could be the sway bar bushings.

ohh and if you get this is it okay if do an alighnemnt when its slammed and if you bring it bak up would if affect the alighnment?

our lower ball joints are know to have some problems, im not sure if its from lowering, but they do have a history of failing. im sure a stiffer ride cant help the lower ball joints.

 

there are a few arms on the rear suspension links (sway bar bushings maybe) or other links, that could be the problem. just give them a tug and see if any of them are loose or making that noise. im sure the seat is not the problem

 

ohh perfect ya im going to see my mechanic tomorrow because i cant stand it anymore. i have another question recently i was hearing the front driver side squeaking like a needed a lower ball joint but now i dont hear it anymore should i still change it for safety???

If youre taking it to a mechanic-tell him to give everything a good once over. He should be able to tell if you need to replace anything.

I get a slight squeak sometimes when turning onto an uneven surface, ie my driveway. Just dropped the car though-Im sure its a spring squeak for me.

 

anyone whos if you take out the acura emblam in the bak if it has to holes or its glued??
