2003 TL correct radio code doesn't work.
Hi, I have a 2003 TL and I recently replaced my battery. I have had to enter in my radio code before on several occasions without incident, however when I try it now it will not accept the code. I googled the problem and came up with a few solutions, however have had no success. One of the methods I have yet to try because I cannot figure out how to is to remove the antenna from the back of the stereo and then enter in the code and then replace the antenna. Some of the people have commented they are not sure why this works, but that it does. Can someone help me figure out how to remove this cord, or maybe you have a simpler solution. Please and thank you, going on 4 days of silence in my car and I drive a lot!
dude you gotta use the search. this has been gone over soooo many times.
once you take off the plastic panels on the left of the radio you can see the tick black cord coming out the back of the radio. that is the antenna.
before you ask how to take off the panels do a search. there are REALLY good DIY posts with pictures and everything.
