Title pretty much tells it all.
Replaced the car battery. Ran into the apparently common issue of the radio codes not being accepted. Finally got the code to be accepted. Radio (AM and FM) works. Couldn't find a cassette to try that option. Pressing the CD button after a few seconds, gives an error "CHEC ER-ER1" Tried turning the ignition switch off, radio off and on, Pressed the CD button while turning the radio on and off. I will try voodoo next. Any ideas?
With a vehicle of this class, you shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get a radio to work. My car is 16 years old. The new ones seem to have a similar issue. Can't Acura/Honda fix this issue? Maybe they are too worried about fancy LED headlights and tail lights.
