It seems that my 03 TL type s is due for axel replacement they are both knocking when I turn, does any one have DIY thread I can find one. Thanks

if not here use internet search and there will be vids and plenty of instruction

Main bolt torque is 136 iirc,,32mm/1 1/4" socket?

ck NAPA for good price on NEW units,,should still be under 100 each

 

Lift car, remove axle nut, remove shock fork, separate lower ball joint, lift knuckle off lower control arm to make enough room to pull axle out of knuckle, remove from trans. Reverse to install.
