My car would change the 2nd gear to around 4k rpm in the morning once in a while and sometimes wont engage in to gear.So I have to let go gas and step on it again. It only does this in cold morning. During the day it is fine. Ironically , it doesnot give any check engine light. Honda dealer did Tranny flash in 2011. Is this start of craziness or just need some sensor /solenoid replacement. ALl other gears are fine and sooth shift.I have aoubt 105k Mileage with original tranny

The LCD of temp/Mileage has not light. Is there any bulb that needs changing or any sensor.

Do you play around with the sport mode? Mine shifts fine when in D5 auto but in sport mode I sometimes have to do it twice cuz idk what is goin on there. Trans might start to slip slowly. Btw warm up your car for 3-5 minutes every time to get the trans warmed up. If you start and go this could be why

 

you need to take the dash board out. three is a small print board on the back. you need to replace that board also along with 4 red base light bulb. I believe the small board cost $36. mine went out several month ago. I fixed it by replacing it.
