Approaching 220k miles on my 02 TL-S now. Just replaced the upper and lower ball joints yesterday, along with the control arms as those bushings were shot.

If there's no engine/transmission replacement yet....
That's sound maintenance to me....you want to share
your maintenance habits for the benefit of everyone here ?
Many thanks...

I am officially at 220k now....My first tranny went at like 96k or something like that, just before the 100k mark. I do a lot of highway driving for work, and to visit my g/f who lives like 45 mins away. So between those, I do a lot of driving. For maintenance I just try and stay on top of things, and replace parts asap if they go with OEM if possible due to price, or I go aftermarket.

I bought the car in Jan 05 w/ 32,500 on it from the dealer. I do have some more maintenance items to do such as plugs etc...I just did new struts recently, ball joints, brakes, and motor mounts.

I got the impression that you are at 220k miles WITH your oem engine & transmission....sorry my mistake.
Anyhow your 2nd transmission is at least showing really good
record on it after 100k its just that there are a few in this forum who indicated they had more than 200k miles oem engine & transmission and we'd like just to learn on their better habits of upkeep.
Thanks...
