which do you guys think is better, btw anyone know about the fitment on that HP with my Sport drop?

 

if the first wheel u were looking at is HP Lightning, i wouldnt recommend. a local guy who rode a 02 TL was selling his HP Lightning rims 18" +38offset. i read on Acurazine that 38 offset would rub real bad, but the guy who was sellin said he had no problem with his s.techs. Since I have 03TL with s.techs as well, I went ahead and tried out the rims. There was rubbing each time i hit even a small bump with nothing in the trunk and the back seat. If I had even one person riding in the back, rubbing was crazy...

 

these are hot for mesh, crazy colors but hot

nah.. sorry tam, but the wheels your looking at have too low of an offset

General Rule:

7.5" wide rims = Offset 45 or higher to prevent rubbing
8" wide rims = Offset 48 or higher

Those HP's will rub like crazy over a bump if you're dropped.

 

hey jay, so those ASA have a 7 inch width. so am i suppose to expect to have an offset of 42 or higher?

also, with 7 inch width, can i still use my old tires of 235/35/17?

 

your out of luck the bolt pattern on those asa are 5x100.....

 

check out Niko2000TL's tl on 18" evos.....

 

opps i just checked his sig and they are "AZA Z2 18" Wheels (summer)" not evos but close enough to the look.....

i wouldn't go that small if i was you tam.....they are gonna just plan nasty so small.....

 

if you get 18's , you can't use your 17 inch tires.

 

If you were to go mesh, I'd def prefer them rays A/X sooo hot. why not go for iforged or HRE. go for more baller rims man!! IMO mesh doesnt really look that great unless you can pull a good amount of lip on it. I kinda regret getting my VS-XX sometimes.
