Type S ProgresS

Note: Car will be lowered soon on Tein S-Tech Springs until coilovers next year. Also i know there is a lot of mixed feelings on these wheels, but i like them. OEM ASpec kit up next.

I think it looks good! Do your emblems gunmetal or something tho, anything but gold! Post pics when you get it dropped!

gold is terrible. the black chrome emblems or none. u could get em from the dealer or even ebay. they are $56 on ebay.

Yea thats kinda what I was thinking. I was going to get the aspec grille with the black outer and chrome A and change the trunk to the chromee
A and 07 type badge.

ill think it will be all good. im running 225/45R 17 Michelins. shouldnt rub at all....

^^and if you do, I think cutting the tabs would do it. I don't think you would need to roll your fenders for those.

Oh, and is it just me or do those wheels look WAY bigger than 17s on the 2nd gen. On your car they looking kind of like 19s IMO.

I know the 2g type s wheels are so small. 6.5 wide makes them look like civic wheels. When we took them off and put the 07 side by side I was shocked

For sure man. My family lives out in the west suburbs Plymouth Minnetonka so im usually around there once a week. I know there are a couple more people out that way too

i hope you're not serious bout the audi front clip... lol

looks much better dropped although i too am not a fan of those wheels....

hahaha no it was just an extra A6 front lying around at work. yea i might do a shoot with my friends mk4 and a couple of the tech's audis that ill post up

Thanks! No i havent noticed any rubbing at all. I dont usually ride with more than one other person in my car but i drive pretty spirited and nothing so far.

Thanks for the sideshots.

When you weren't dropped, they do stick out. But with the negative camber, the wheels tuck-in and now they are sitting flush with the fenders. Looks awesome, I dig it.
