so got my windows tinted today, 20% all around. my tints were done by Skyline Tinting here in Lynnwood, WA...

very nice, you just help me make my decision to what percent im going.. 15%...haha.. i have 30 on the windshield and 35% on the other windows.. just got the windshield done but i bought my car with the 35% on it already so im going to take them off and re do it. how does it look at night? i see too much sunlight getting into your car

 

it looks like you could have gone a little darker. i can see a lot of light.

 

haha my driveway is sitting directly in front of the sun; that is why there is a lot of sunlight going in.... i'm going to take the night shots tonight when the sun is gone....

 

ehh maybe your right, i mean mine shouldnt look as light in the sunlight anyways since i got the windshield tinted but idk if i want to take that chance. but yea ill be waiting for them night shots

Looks good. I just got mine back from the tinter today. 5% all around and 35% on the windshield. Wesley Snipes aint got nothin on my windows. lol.

5% all the way around, no sunlight gets in and it looks bad ass, but its hard to see at night when looking at teh side mirrors.

 

wish i could do 5%... dont wanna risk it haha

like i said i was going to take night shots with my tints on, but unfortunatlly i'm not very good with night shots so here are some early morning shots that i will be posting up in a few minutes..

ok i take it back, the 20% looks good enough, it would look darker though if you tinted your windshield..

 

haha i think i like it the way it is.... its hard enough to drive at night with the tints haha...

Ahhh now this looks like 20%. I think 20% is perfect when you are not in too much sun obviously...15% is the darkest I would go to chance it with a state trooper here...

 

i was thinking about doing 15% but ehh, 20% was not too dark or too light.. it was just right in between...

Very Nice ! 20% looks good . Dark enuf to do sum dirty on the streets without bein seen and light enuf to not get a ticket mine are "15%" but i think they look more 25-30% tho .. i got ripped off at the place that did it so i gotta go down there or sumthin to get redone

i really want to get 15% but im in rhode island with a florida plate and i dont want to get harrassed by the police, because i honestly dont know how long im going to be up here, and i dont want them to start talking smack about me having to take them off or register my car in rhode island or something if im going to be here long..

Your tint is too light for me, but it looks better than stock! lol

 

i cant believe so many of you guys are into tinting the front windshield... right on, when i was in my vw days everyone thought i was fkn retarded (well its not the smartest/most legal idea in the world but still, it looks dope lol)

i think thesedays im over it though. not worth the cop hassle anymore
