Question For those who got tint

is it a good idea to go get tint on a cold and cloudy day or should I wait for the sun to come out

I replied in your other thread....my answer wasnt satisfying???

The tint needs time to cure or dry.
if you get it done now, you'll just have to wait longer for the tint to dry.
this means no window operation until its completely dry

with that being said, its your choice.

if you get it done now, you're obviously gonna wait a heck of a lot longer for the tint to "cure"

im a tinter.

like it was mentioned. cold or hot its the same, but you will have to wait alittle longer for it to cure.

typically with my customers i say 2-3days in the summer.

winter i say 5-7 days

after that THEN you can lower your windows.

well they shouldnt. But if u had tint before and the glue was stuck, then sometimes they will just scrape off the defrost to clean the glass correctly. I have done it before but that was after letting the customer know if they wanted to do that.
