Thinking about doing roof overlay...did this

This was just an experiment that I did at work... wasn't planning on leaving it on for long...but I kind of like it

What do you think? If I decide that I want to keep it, I am going to actually take measurements and get it centered perfectly to make all the edges even. Not bad for a ruler and a 3" wide roll of vinyl.

If it were dangerously low on some wide, black wheels, and didnt have chrome pillars. Then MAYBE.

I am planning to do the whole roof black with black HeelToe wing when we get new 50" wide rolls of black vinyl...this was just an experiment after looking at a friends Mini with the checkered roof...it comes right off with a squeegy(sp?) and some windex...not planning on keeping it this way

i'd take off that checker overlay.. doesnt flow with the car at all.. as for the black overlay .. i think it looks alright .. but keep in mind .. it's a luxury car, and i'd keep it at the stock look. otherwise, it just reminds me of those scion tc's =/

the chrome pillars won't match with the roof anyways if you decided to go with the black roof overlay

Don't get your panties in a bunch...it was only on there for a day and a half... it is off now... as I said in a prev post, I was waiting for the 50" vinyl to come in and was boared at work when I put it on

As far as the crome pillars... they are off... they looked real good when I had chrome 19" wheels

MODS---PLEASE CLOSE THREAD

sounds like your the one getting bunched up.

you make a thread and ask for opinions... STRANGELY enough the crowd didnt like the Pace car theme. and now you want the thread closed immediately.

:sigh:
