slowly but surely making some progress

just thought i would share a few pics of the direction im heading.

cleaned her up nice and good and painted the door pillars again.


got my bumper finaly fixed up and repainted after my acident, looks good as new.


i broke out the spray can today, i still have to pick up a spark plug cover thogh.


i cant wait to get these in

on getting everything back in its place......and how did you paint your pillars mine look horrible and i need to do something.....

lol, all i did was sand with 600 then 1000 then 1500 and primer and paint with some gloss black.oh and clear coat or else it will peel in extreme weather conditions(hence why i had to redo them) looks pretty good and costs a hell of a lot less than new ones would. im sure i could have wetsanded and tryed to get a mirror finish by wetsanding but im to lazy.

sure things, its dark now so ill do it tomorow. and i just did the pillars, its not as glossy as the trim but you can only tell from really close up.

they look good from that first shot far away, but we want to see them up close

mine look horrible too, and am looking for something to do to them

Congrats on the GR2 and H&R. Good luck with the install. Do show us more of the pillars though. I'm sure most of us are hurting for a fix!

lol sorry i forgot about them, ill take some tomrow, i dont think it would be a permnent fix tho, this week in the horrible heat the left pillars got a few bubbles in them. not sure why but im going to look at getting them profesionaly painted and be done with them
