After having the aspec spoiler for the last year or so, i was able to get my hands on the same jdm spoiler except this one has the OEM built in rear view camera. Finally got it hooked up to the navi screen last night and had to take a few shots and a quick video.

give the props to Rolando (El pana/TL32). he is where i was able to get the first aspec spoiler without the camera and now this one with the camera.

 

That is so cool man, I wish I had that on a navi screen every time I put my vehicle in reverse.

always wanted that when i had my tl

 

using Dom's Navi2DVD converter. The camera outputs component video so i just hooked it up to the video 2 jack on doms unit and wired the reverse wire so it comes on when i put it in reverse.

 

haha, i know, now i just gotta figure out what i want to do with the lights on the spoiler and it will be complete

 

switch em out for reds like you did with the last, or wire to reverse lights, get the real function out of it.. donno if you parallel park alot..

 

or make em blinkers/indicators..

 

thats awesome. The first time i saw that spoiler and the buldge i knew it was for a camera. its great that you got it working so well.

yeah i'm going to switch them out for red again like i did last time, except this time i'm getting some brighter red leds with a 360 degree viewing angle so it should hopefully be able to see in sunlight/cloudy weather better, if not they both still show up great at night/dusk, right Malayalee King

i noticed that yesterday also. From what i could tell it was sometime in mid feb, since that is when it says he was last logged in. Gonna try to find out what happened at the meet in march.
