Polished Plentnum & Painted Engine Covers - Installed

Now that the weather is nice I was able to install my polished plentum and painted engine covers. The covers are painted WDP and covered with 3 coats of clear. I think it gives the car a little extra to go along with the Comptech Headers, Icebox and Titanium Strut Bar. It seems like your never out of ideas when it comes to mods. Just when you think your finished your mind thinks of new ideas.

Very nice, but the wheels just changes the look. I see you also went Tintless. Looks good playa!!! I don't know what it is but I'm not feeling the wheels at all.

I did not go tintless. Maybe it was the light but the windows are tinted and soon the tailights and fogs will be as well. The metal polishes up pretty easy, you do not need to dip it. I sent it out to a metal shop and it cost me $50.

Damn, I cant really see the reflection off your polished cover, try taking better pics when the time and sunlight is right.

Maybe these photos are better. It's always dark under the hood so I used a flash. Maybe this will show the "Bling" a little better. In person it shines like chrome and look really nice.

I'm really feeling your engine cover. I painted mines but it didn't even come out close to what yours looks like....

The engine cover looks sweet. If I ever opened my hood I'd be tempted to do the same thing hehe.

The responce most people have when they see the new mods is Wow!!! The engine covers and plentum look awesome in person - as do the new wheels. I know some of you have stated that your not feeling them, but Im telling you they honestly look alot nicer in person. The photos don't really do them justice. My car looks high in most photos I take of it yet I have a tad more then 1 finger gap in the rear and less then two in the front. Maybe I need to attend some photography classes at night.

I plan on polishing my plenum too. I like how you also did the letters in white, very detailed. Good work!

I totally agree. I think I need to take a photography class also, cuz when I take pics of my ride the pics don't do justice at all. My car(and I'm sure other members on here)looks much better in person. My drop is much lower than it appears in the pics, so I'm on your side here "1osunut"

I think its because I keep my tires spotless as well as my inner fenders and everything just blends in together. My car looks lower when its dirty (which is not often).
